TOPIC: Managing our Temper (Anger)
Everyone has been annoyed either flirty annoyance or full-fledged rage.
Anger is a normal and healthy human emotion. It cannot be stopped but can only be controlled. If it becomes uncontrollable such that it leads to destruction of properties, it can cause inter-personal relationships
"Anger" can be caused either by internal or external reasons
"Internal Anger" can be caused by our memories of bad event, personal problems leading to thought complications
"External Anger" can be caused by people and things around us
APPROACH TO OVERCOMING ANGER
1. Express your anger assertively (Don't be aggressive)
2. It can suppressed and redirected to another direction; constructing them to good attitude. Unexpressed anger can lead to getting back at people unnecessarily
3. Anger can be calmed down: It is not just limited to controlling the outward display but also involves
EXPRESSING ANGER
Our Social Laws and Moral Laws hinder us from furious delivery of our anger. Anger can be expressed consciously or unconsciously
MANAGEMENT OF ANGER
The goal of anger management is to reduce your emotional feelings. You can't change or get rid of things that makes you angry
1. Change the way you think when you are angry
2. Better Communication (Angry People tend to jump into conclusion - Don't say what comes to your thought first but rather, think first)
